In the Homestretch

We recently partnered with New Picture Studios' Ryan King to finish out the editing on the films. Ryan should have a rough of "Boxed" in a week or so. - Jay has taken on the producer responsibilities and is coordinating between the editor and film composer (Chad Rose). - All in all, good progress after a couple months in quagmire.

Weekend Report

Well, our first weekend at working together has produced some terrific shots. I want to thank everyone for their hard work and patience on this initial couple of days filming.

Anyway, with this first batch of shots, Jay and I will be able to determine what is needed to make the story come together. The Wednesday email will have more detail on plans for this Friday and such.

Also, I am going in for sinus surgery in a couple of hours. No big deal, but they say I will be down for a few days afterward. So, please pray that all goes well. Surgery is at 10:30am at the Pacific Surgery Center in Poulsbo. I should be back among the land of the living by this weekend.

Set Building Progress

We've made terrific progress on getting the walls built, furniture gathered, boxes assembled, lights hung, etc.

We'll get some pics up ASAP.

A couple of things nailed down

We now have a scheduler (my mother in law, Jan) and a location to store stuff until June. The storage location is courtesy of a local church that has some warehouse space. Now I can start gathering boxes.

Programmers wanted

We definitely need someone who can make a simple program to display the elements described in the script for "Download." Go to preproduction to review the script.

The plan for May

In May we will have the locations picked out by the 6th, hold auditions on the 16th and have our production design by the 16th as well. We need lots of crew members and helpers ASAP. See the "Opportunities" section.

With the scripts nearly finished and the core team assembled, the next step is to launch into the logistics of the project.  This will require some intense effort in order to be prepared for the filming in June.
